This unique, highly regarded full-day tour starts with a scenic flight to the heart of the unspoilt Grenadines archipelago. From 3500 – 4500 ft in a nine-seater aircraft you can trace your island tours and spot deserted beaches on uninhabited islands.
On arrival you are transferred to the schooner Scaramouche and set sail for three island destinations. The islands visited are delightful and the sailing between them is exhilarating.
There are several opportunities for snorkelling. The boat provides snorkel and mask but not fins; you are welcome to bring your own fins. At the Tobago Cays you are quite likely to be able to swim with turtles.
A breakfast snack, a quality lunch cooked on board the Scaramouche, and drinks from an all-day open bar are provided. Please give us notice of special dietary requirements.
You will need travel documents, since this trip involves going abroad for a day.
If Scaramouche is unavailable, the trip is also possible on a catamaran (Captain Yannis) but at a higher price.
This trip can take place on any day but is subject to the availability of the schooner and of the charter plane.
We have to ensure a group size of minimum 6 paying the adult fare to maximum 9, and also availability of plane and boat. This can be tricky especially in the ‘quiet’ season (May to October). We therefore ask you to express interest early and to be as flexible as possible with the date of travel.
To satisfy airport security requirements we shall need to know in advance, for everyone travelling:
- Date of birth,
- Passport number,
- Date of expiry.
Please note that all creams and lotions will have to be handed over to the airline at the airport before departure and will be returned upon arrival at Union Island.
About once or twice a year we are forced to cancel a trip at very short notice due to problems with the boat, the plane or the weather. Since we do not own the boat or the plane, we have no influence over the above. This is as disappointing to us as it is to you. In case of an unexpected cancellation we reschedule if possible, or else refund.
Sounds like a lot of trouble? THE DAY MAKES IT ALL WORTHWHILE – see reports on Tripadvisor.
If you cancel:
Less than 24 hrs prior to flight departure: no refund
24 – 48 hrs prior to flight departure: 50% cancellation fee
