Observing the Leatherbacks
As soon as the researchers find a turtle, you'll be allowed to walk along the beach to observe the turtle as it it digs a nest and lays its eggs. A maximum of twelve people are allowed in a group so as not to disturb the turtles unduly. White or bright clothing, flashlights and cameras with flash are not allowed as they can distract the turtles. It is recommended that you bring red lights and to keep a respectful distance from the animals.
You should be home again around midnight.
